Management and staff of anambra state ministry of lands charged to have private-sector mindset in discharging their duties.

The management and staff of Anambra State Ministry of Lands have been enjoined to have and imbibe private-sector attitudinal mindset in carrying out their assigned responsibilities of giving Ndi Anambra effective and efficient land administration.
The call was made during a two-day human capacity training tagged Performance Management and Appraisal System workshop for management and staff of Anambra State Ministry of Lands.
The training workshop which started on 26th October and ended on 27th, 2023 took place at the conference hall of Arnold and Associates Headquarters, BrownWood Estate, situate at Millennium City Layout, Awka, Anambra State and organized by Ubosi Eleh and Co in collaboration with Mctimothy Associates Consulting LLC brought together resource persons with expertise on management performance and appraisal system.
Addressing the participants during the workshop, Mr Tayo Kolade who is one of the resource persons and facilitators stated that to achieve an optimal land service administration for Ndi Anambra that management and staff of the Ministry must as a matter of policy adopt private-sector attitudinal mindset while carrying out their job.
According Mr Kolade, a private-sector-oriented working mindset is one that is target-driven without compromising standard and service delivery.He equally made a special case for training and re-training of management and staff of the Ministry of Lands especially in their areas of competence as that remain an integral part of appraising and improving on their performance.
While describing the Anambra State Commissioner for Lands, Prof Offornze Amucheazi, SAN as a transformational leader for his concerted commitment and investment in human capacity development of the management and staff of the Ministry, Mr Kolade called on the participants to be firm and friendly in discharging their duties.
In his remarks at the commencement of the workshop, the Commissioner for Lands, Prof Offornze Amucheazi, disclosed that he is very passionate about creating a workforce that can perform optimally at all times and help achieve Mr. Governor’s vision of a liveable and prosperous homeland for Ndi Anambra.
He said that training and re-training of management and staff is one of his cardinal objectives and called on the management and staff to put to practice all they have been taught and learnt during the intensive and impactful training workshop for best land service delivery to Ndi Anambra State.
The Commissioner extended special appreciation to all the participants, the resource persons and facilitators led by Mr Tayo Kolade and Mr Tayo Oluwale among others as well as Mr Chukwuebuka Arnold Ekweoba who is the CEO of Arnold and Associates Group for providing pro bono the venue of the workshop.
Highpoint of the workshop was presentation of certificates on Management Development Training Programme to all the participants by the Commissioner.
