MINISTRY OF LANDS, ANAMBRA STATE

Certificates of Occupancy (C of O)

Dear Ndi Anambra,
We are pleased to inform you that the Anambra State Ministry of Lands is committed to facilitating secure land ownership through the issuance of Certificates of Occupancy (C of O). As the primary authority responsible for land administration in Anambra State, our Ministry strives to streamline and enhance the process of obtaining legal documentation for land ownership.
Presently, we are proud to announce that an applicant can obtain their certificate within 11 days, provided all required documents are complete. We are actively working towards further reducing this processing time in the near future, demonstrating our commitment to efficiency and excellent service delivery.
A Certificate of Occupancy is a critical document that certifies the legal ownership and rights of individuals or entities over a specific piece of land. It provides a secure legal framework and serves as evidence of rightful ownership, offering protection against potential disputes and ensuring the peace of mind that comes with having a legally recognized title.
Our Ministry is dedicated to ensuring the efficient processing and issuance of Certificates of Occupancy to qualified applicants. We understand the significance of this document in facilitating various real estate transactions, promoting investment, and contributing to the overall development of our state. Whether you are a landowner seeking to formalize your property rights or an investor looking to engage in real estate ventures, the Anambra State Ministry of Lands is here to assist you.
Thank you for choosing the Anambra State Ministry of Lands as your partner in securing and preserving your land-related documents.
