Coordination and oversight of the operations of the Ministry’s operational Departments fall under the purview of the Admin Department. In terms of financial requirements, it offers support services to help the Ministry and Departments carry out their mandates and meet their objectives. Additionally, the Department oversees the general routine administration of the Ministry as well as the career advancement, welfare, promotion, discipline, training, and salaries of all Ministry employees. To carry out this function, the department is organized into units and sub-units.

Functions of Admin department

  1. The Ministry’s routine administration and personnel advisor.
  2. Overseeing the coordination of personnel matters, policies, and associated matters.
  3. In charge of the Ministry’s overall security.
  4. It is also in charge of employee welfare, including training, advancement, and other matters.
  5. Payment processing and preparation for ongoing and capital expenses.
  6. General financial administration and revenue collection.
  7. Purchasing supplies, such as office supplies, materials, and stationery, among others.
